About This Special Issue
Short bowel syndrome is a critical complication of gastrointestinal operations in pediatric, which is the leading cause for intestinal failure. The treatment usually takes a long term with little effects on the contrary. Quite a lot of researches were carried on these years, which focused on nutrition treatment and operation for lengthening the bowel.
The primary goal of this special issue is to make collections and communication of methods of treatment for postoperative short bowel syndrome.
